Practical Magic and the Moon

In this hands-on practical course, discover the mysterious path of the moon through the lens of astrology, intuition and magic.

This path is for those who desire to put into practice the magical ways of the moon, intuition, nature connection and magic. In a supportive cohort, co-learners will explore astrology, moon magic practices, connecting with nature on a soul level and folks will deepen their  personal intuition and divination skills in this six month course.

We will gather in an outdoor, nature-based classroom, learning new skills each session, sharing  the outcome of our practical experience  for four hours to learn, discuss and experience magic though the lens of the moon. Students should dress appropriately wearing weather appropriate clothes, as we will meet outdoors rain or shine, sitting by the fire as often as the forest allows.

The moon influences are far reaching, from our bodies to the oceans. Working in concert with the moon can help you live in the flow, creating ease for yourself and those around you. The moon teaches us that spiraling around the same themes clarifies new learning each time. Navigate the ebbs and flows of the moon and its reflection in your personal life, gaining a greater connection to your souls path. This course is appropriate for those just starting a magical practice or for those who have been studying for years. Students will incorporate skills learned into their personal practices and share the observations and outcome of those practices at each class. Students are expected to spend time outside of the class practicing skills, magic and rituals.

October 7th, November 3rd, December 2nd, January 6th, February 3rd and March 3rd,

Instructor- Karin Olsen is a healer, a seer and a teacher. She has been studying plants for more than 20 years, owning a herb shop and metaphysical store for 15 years. She has been a massage therapist for over 25 years. Karin learned her psychic medium skills from her mother and see clients via zoom. She teaches classes on earth-based spirituality through Moonhill Mystery School in the Salish Sea area. In 2021, she earned a Master of Ecopsychology from Naropa University.
